Mission
Our mission as the chief law enforcement agency of Kenton County is to hold integrity as a standard. Sheriff Korzenborn and his staff will strive to provide leadership in the community, recognize and respect the diversity of our citizens and assist other law enforcement agencies in professionally protecting and serving the public. We will live by these values every day as we go about our constitutional duties as public servants.

Concealed Carry of a Deadly Weapon
Permits to carry concealed weapons are available through the Office of the Kenton County Sheriff. Applications are available at both the Covington and Independence county buildings.

As of December 9th, 2020 cardboard fingerprint cards for STATE and/or FBI background checks will no longer be accepted by the Kentucky State Police (KSP).
